Giant Scarabax Beetles was a sort of Scarabax Beetles exclusive to some alternate universes.

History

The Giant Scarabax Beetles evolved from usual Scarabax Beetles on Spherus Magna. During the Shattering, some of the were stranded on a piece of Spherus Magna that later crashed into Terra Magna. These were known to eat anything that came into their way, and always traveled in bigger groups.

Deserts of Death Universe

In the Deserts of Death Universe, a swarm of Giant Scarabax Beetles inhabited a cave in Sundry Canyon. They attacked Gladium after he stood on one of the smaller Scarabax beetles. Luckily, they were scared away when a Matoran Pod fell from the sky.

It has also been confirmed that the Skrall's Vorox hunts were developed by Rotam until they were hunting down other creatures. The Giant Scarabax Beetle was one of these and a large number of their population is currently infected with the Kraata virus are under Rotam's command.
